The view for fine things you have to learn. It all starts at home. Beautiful objects are just as cultural, such as books, art and music. Anyone who ignores this is ignorant and probably think that it is completely irrelevant whether even internal documents and working papers are well designed. No, it is still relevant. It has to do with aesthetic sensitivity.

Anyone who denigrates the sense of aesthetics as superficial, has understood anything. It is for attention, even the small, seemingly insignificant details. And this is the form of politeness, of which there may be not enough in this world.

The metro-style is based on the Gestaltungsphilosphie of the Bauhaus (1919-1933), which in turn is rooted in constructivism. Especially the use of basic shapes and primary to secondary colors characterize these styles. The full-scale use and the absence of plasticity. Always with the goal of reduction to the essentials.

Googling for "olympiade 1972 münchen piktogramme' and you will be amazed!

It corresponds to my idea of simple, intuitive and clear user interface. I myself have developed in 1998 for Word a plug-in that was called metro.tx. Just been so, I have a special relationship with the metro concept.

Since I am not a graphic designer, I design simple surfaces with typographic elements.

Most of the time I live in Switzerland; second time in Finland.

I am open to all design concepts. At the moment I follow especially the development of metro. But everything is under development. A wise man (Bertrand Russell) once said:
Most of the greatest evils that man has inflicted upon man have come through people feeling quite certain about something which, in fact, was false.
